Experts are predicting that Katrina will cost between 10 billion and 26 billion dollars...making it the most costly huricane in United States history. Bush is mow expected to use emergency oil reserves in order to hold the prices at a stall, as to not make them to go up too much; while they wait for the mexican oil refineries to get back up and running.

Sorry, I hate weather men and their predictions of doom, gloom and death then I get 1 inch of snow, which in NE Ohio isn't even a dusting.

Uhh, hope they have a boat...![]()
When I grew up there EVERYONE had a boat, it was as popular as a bicycle, standard issue at any house.
We called them Pirogues (P Rogue, 'I' is silent) and just about every other house had one. It would flood a lot back then and I remember many times I had to paddle 1-2 miles to the nearest 7-11, great fun back then, as kids we loved when it flooded

It will be a bad storm but it did turn more east so Mississippi will get hit the hardest I think, I think New Orleans dodged the big one once again.

Weathermen are normally low on the totem poll at any news station. This was his moment in the sun, his moment of glory, and this wench was trying to steal his spotlight! Good for him, even if he get's canned, at least the world got to see what useless bitch that woman was.

I heard something about this while listening to news radio on the way to work today.

Interesting quotes from site....
"People have expressed how they can't believe that a Canadian team is here to rally to their needs."
"I was actually hugged by the president of the Parish, who is similar to the mayor, when we arrived. We were the first relief effort that made their way there."
Maybe we should let Canada run FEMA for us?

"Well, we're not just gonna let you walk out of here."
