Bringing Down The Scientology Cult

Postby beavermatic » Wed Sep 07, 2005 11:32 pm

Just out of interest to see how many people would take up the offer, and a pure hatred for the UFO cult and scam on the marker called "The Church Of Scientology", and to put myself in harms way (bring it on cult members), I have released a collection of quite a lengthy Wordpad document to all the secrets behind Scientology, its founder, it president, Xenu, Sea Org, The Space Opera, so on an so forth.

Quite the interesting read, and while all of its true (and your not gonna belive how stupid people are for paying millions to find out this info inside the church, much less beleiving it), i'd say it at least had a better storyline than the recent 3 Star Wars Movies...

you'll find the ebay link on the first post there..

Oh, im shure L Ron Hubbard is rolling in his grave knowing that his million dollar member secrets are now out and about on Ebay for a buck.

Even though matters of religion aren't supposed to be discussed in this forum, you can glean some insight into Scientology by checking out this Wiki entry:

WOW!

How did I not see what a scam this religion is!

I was so caught up in one that practices ritualistic cannabilism and vampirism!

One that believes in a supreme deity that not only has a multiple personality disorder but openly espouses an Oedipus complex!

One where it is acceptable to molest small male children yet decry any women's attempt at practicing birth control in any way whatsoever!

One that is responsible for more pain and bloodshed thru things like the Dark Ages, the Crusades, and the Inquisition than either Hitler or Stalin managed to accomplish!?!?!?!

DAMN YOU L. RON HUBBARD! DO YOU THINK YOU ARE BETTER THAN CHRISTIANITY ITSELF!

Look what it got John Lennon and the Beatles!

Damn you Tom Cruise for thinking that sedating children is a bad thing instead of tacitly condoning and accepting something like child molestation!

I'm an agnostic, borderline atheist, so I'll get that out of the way.
If you shed all attachment and sentimentality to any religion and just look at them based on their 'story', I give the nod to Christianity, simplest in terms of complexity, most believable in a way.
Islam, is little farther out there, attempted to explain much of the natural world and thus winds up looking silly. Again, just my opinion.
Scientology--Holy Shit! no pun intended. Goofiest story of all of them. Really, really silly.
Religions are a little like politicians, the more concrete their explanations of things are, the more their bullshit becomes obvious. Just like a politician, success is found in being vague, with multiple interpretations possible. Look at Nostrodamus (not a religion, I know) but that guy made a living being vague.

You know what is probably the most telling aspect of Scientology? The fact that they hide their core story from new people, in fact you have to reach the pinnacle of the Scientology hierarchy before they'll reveal their core belief of Evil galactic overlords stuffing volcanoes full of aliens and blowing them up with nuclear bombs, causing their unhappy souls to stick to modern day people and thus causing all sorts of problems.

Any other tradional (for lack of a better classification) will tell you about their core story 5 minutes after they meet you. Christians will eagerly tell anyone about Christ, the crucifiction, the Resurrection, Muslims will tell you about Mohammed ascending to Heaven, the Mormons will tell you about Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, etc.
Can you imagine if Scientologists told prospective members the whole 'alien-volcano-nuclear bomb' story on the very first day?? I wonder how many members they would have then.

Why do people care about this BS?

If people want to beleive in inter galatic warlords, etc, let them.

At least with this 'religion' they look to improve themselves through change instead of blaming it on something/someone else.
