WoW thoughts
Hey all,
A friend of mine highly recommended WoW. I have never played this but I checked out the official web site
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/
and I think it looks pretty cool. I also searched the forums here and the consensus is that everyone loves this game.
Now that it has been a year ( i think ) that the most recent version was released, what does everyone think? Are the graphics good? Is it worth the fee? Is is fun? Is there lag? It is too complicated? ( I bought EQ and thought it was way too complicted to play ).
thanks for any opinions before I commit to this.

I played for 29 days of roughly 120 days of my life just recently. If you have a lot of time to waste for whatever reason it might be for you. If you even remotely have a life, it will be a burden for sure.

yeah watch out man, that is some potent stuff dude. my brothers got hooked on the stuff a while back. its a sad thing to see them like this, all burnt out and socially inept. one day youll wake up and realize you have a phraze like "pwn" or "noob" on your t-shirt and youll realize youve hit rock bottom. but by then it far too late.

thanks guys for the comments. The thing is, what you said here Havoc, totally applies to me. I am really on the go from Thurs thru Sunday, then only having late nights to play a little BF2. That is why the Battlefield series is perfect for me. Just pick up and play, no commitment. No storyline. My buddy brought over his WoW on an external hard drive and ran it from my computer tonight. it looks cool, and yes, if I had time, I could see myself exploring this immense world for many, many hours.
Maybe when I retire I will finally have the time again for these games.

LOL, lately I have no life, so I actually avoid things like WoW or The Sims because it would be like throwing in the towel, so to speak.
