DirecTV or Dish Network
if you have DirecTV or Dish, tell me if you like them or not.

Please don't ask why... but I have both.
Overall I like DISH for simplicity and features. Direct-TV seems to have better choices as far as events and sports. Both however have just about all the sports you can take in.
As for the Audio, again both seem to offer about the same with maybe Dish offering a few more audio channels in MONO. The stereo channels are pretty much the same.
Side by side for the money I'd choose DISH for VALUE if money is an issue.
Direct-TV if you don't mind spending a bit more for packages that have more channels.
You may want to check with your local telephone outlet. Many of these providers are offering package deals with Satellite TV vendors that will save you a few dollars on TV, DSL and Telephone.
Good luck, I'm sure this really don't help as much as you wanted. Perhaps others watch a bit more of the channels than myself. I must admit I seldom watch anything on TV anymore. I do think he Music channels are great on both systems.

No it does help. My dad just got screwed over by the local Cable company. He works nights and he had me come over during their 4 hour window to wait for them to finish their installation that they never finished in the first place. I about f-ing lost it with them and he is still on dial up so the SBC/dish package with SBC DSL and Telephone service seem to be the way to go.
Thanks for your input.
