See, you all mocked me. Ridiculed me, even said "get a life" (when it's obvious that playing RTCW long after its prime is such a fruitful and progressive life...but I digress).
I got Keek to come out of the perverbial foxhole, put down his sabres of metal, and draw out his wit-sabre.
I must say, the effort put into the reply by Keek, made me miss the stennage of days past, the goings on about l77t players and their total ignorance for server rules, and the people who just wouldn't learn, or gain any more skill even after playing this game for hours on end.
But, as one courteous poster said, I am living in the past, and as your anger would try to deter me, it only strengthened my resolve. Is it so wrong to want to relive days when !bans were flying in global chat just like v54s? Is it wrong to hear the pseudo silent pitter patter of a sten, only to know that you're about to get some face pwnage, or, if you were lucky enough to be on the same team, some ammo? It's not so bad to long for the days when l77t-speak was attempted to be replicated by someone who remembers when Eniac 2.0 was released and in order to play a game you had to insert punch cards 1-40.
Come back to rtcw, CoD is so lame.

isn't it 1337 and not l77t? or am i just that out of the loop?
Anyway it'd be cool as hell to see keek back on the beach a bit. Even back when the shit hit the fan i never had a problem with him, he even banned me for spamming medic too much (and i've never done it since). bah he'll never come back

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.
we miss you
How about a beach reunion, keek? I do miss our old days of carefully constructed banter designed purely for the enjoyment of the masses, with no real agenda whatsoever.
I didn't really want it to end the way it did (the fun wasn't supposed to end). TBH, there was no competition with you gone. Your absence really made me reflect on the changes in my life I needed to make to be what society thinks is a 'better person'. I don't despise authority anymore, I embrace them. I understand now that they are there to help put in place order desperately needed in our lives. Admins are our friends.
So I am proposing a friendly GTG on the beach to share some virtual lead (hopefully you haven't uninstalled, unlike poor militant). I won't try to round up any of the old crew...as many of us have fallen out of touch, some have even forsaken me and FPS' for the dreaded WoW and getting their real lives sucked into a virtual fantasy world that will nothing short of warp and derange their frail minds.
I can't guarantee the best fight on the beach, but I will offer up my best effort for entertainment. (though cg_drawgun 0 will probably be difficult to get used to again, I welcome w/ open arms the ability to camp hallway corners and entry ways).
Reply here if you will take me up on my offer. If not, I will assume that life on this particular beach has left too ugly of an impression on your virtual sole[sic] and there's nothing wrong with that.
