WoW PVP?

Postby prozak » Wed Nov 02, 2005 7:21 pm

Hows the PVP in WoW?
All this discussion as of late about hating BF2 has me wanting a new game.

I could careless about the solo crap, but PVP'ing is always fun.

From what I read one lonely night on the forums of WOW was that PVP was a gank fest and really sucky.

Is it worth the money to dish out or no?

Then you'll probably want to stay away from MMORPG's altogether. Unless you go for Guild Wars, they all have monthly fees.

You could try Face of Mankind beta for free. It's an MMORPG/FPS that is still in it's open beta testing stage. It's based in the future and has almost 30 different game worlds to visit/fight on. lots of political BS that builds up to large battles (fun). You have to produce/buy all your weapons, ammo, armor, health, etc. so you have to make money by doing missions set up by your team. The game mechanics aren't all that great, but they've been working on a massive improvement for a few monthes now and that's due to show up in the next couple of months so if you try and don't like the gameplay at first wait a bit and give it another try. :)

The first thing with WOW PVP is the lvl you are. You have to be a high lvl to even gain access to play. I want to say lvl 50 or better. Getting to that lvl will take a lot of time and it will mean you have to be part of a decent guild to run a good portion of the quests and instances.
