I hate truckers.

never mind the truckers,S.U.V drivers are the shitest drivers on the road..always trying to push you to go faster,an cutting you off, an thats just when its snowing.

I'll agree. Especially ones that don' t know how to properly drive in bad weather. When I lived in NY and during snow falls, almost every vehicle that I saw off the road was an SUV of some type. I usually giggle as I drive by.

Sports car drivers are the shitiest drivers on the road.. always trying to push you to go faster, an cutting you off, an thats when its not snowing....

Remember how much you hate truckers the next time you buy or use any commercial product.

The car you were driving - delivered on a truck.
The coffee you were drinking while driving - yep truck too.
The toilet paper you wiped your ass with - truck.
The cereal you ate for breakfast - truck.
The TV you watched while you ate the cereal - truck.
The computer you're using to post (or the parts) - on a truck.
The clothes you're wearing - delivered on a truck...

At least a sports car driver won't kill anyone besides themselves when they crash. An SUV can and will.

Thats a big reason why I dislike SUVs.

Take it easy on him Dave. He is only twelve. And I think he might be saying that his dad is a trucker and he takes offence to people saying they hate truckers.

Where I live is a huge trucker route.

THey got so bad they had to bring state police up until they could get cameras on the weigh station because many truckers wern't going into the weight stations.

Weigh stations are closed in Massachusetts and have been for at least .. 16? years that I know of. The state police use portable scales and will set up shop anywhere.

i find this thread interesting considering that i drive a tractor/trailer for a living.

yes there are some asshole truck driver's out there, but the large majority of us are properly trained and courteous and will get out of the way when it's feasible to do so. i doubt that the driver's sole intention was to block you in your lane, unless of course you did something to piss him off. we'd much rather have you pass us then sit behind us and tailgate or be next to us and match our speed(VERY dangerous for you), taking up the space we need to have to move over in the event that a hazard exists ahead.

at times we will cut you off for reasons that may not be clear to you. if i have to get into your lane, i will use my intimidating size and weight to get you to move. i AM coming over whether you like it or not. it's not that i'm trying to be an asshole. i need that lane for a reason, more than likely to avoid a potentially dangerous situation. if you see the blinkers on(we know you can. i have 5 blinkers per side), move out of the way please.

don't hate the truckers. hate the people that put us into dangerous situations. you know the type: women putting on their make-up in rush hour traffic, the guy who thinks he can safely read the newspaper while driving, the teenager having an 'important' conversation about what to wear on their cell phones, the old lady who suddenly decides to go from 70 mph to 50 mph with an 80,000 pound truck behind her for no vaild reason whatsoever...etc. etc. etc.

by far the most dangerous drivers on the road are the ones who allow themselves to be distracted with insignificant things that can potentially lead to their death.
