I love how they keep teasing with Duke Nukem Forever. If and when it is released, it better be the best game in the world with the delays and holds and urban legends that have surrounded it :lol:

I confess, I loved the Duke. I even played that first side-scroll one on my 486 back in the day.

The screenshots that used to be up there were from 6? years ago when DNF was using the original HL engine.

This reminds me more of the Daikatana hype, the game that was supposed to be John Romero's super game to revolutionize First Person Shooters that magazines and websites couldn't stop talking about 8 or 9 years ago.

Then, when the game finally hits the shelves (only about 2 years ago), it absolutely sucked. Looked and played just like a game from 8 or 9 years ago... and a BAD game at that! So, it looked like crap and played even worse and ultimately wasn't worth anyone's time or spit.

i played wolf 3d at my school in like 5th grade or so. then got it in like 93'....it was the shit back then. wasn't the only cheat code for it I+L+M?
