Quicktime Movie question
Hi all,
I have a question regarding movie downloads like for movie trailers, etc. After viewing them, i know they are still on my computer because if I open quicktime, I can go to recently viewed and the movie/trailers start right away. Even if they are like 40-100 megs big.
I tried looking in the temp folder, etc but cannot find where these movies are.
Can anyone assist me with this? Thanks !!

Usually QT just leaves a direct link. I do not believe the movies are actually stored on your PC.

the reason i think they are stored on my system is that the trailers are big.. over 100 mb. They took a number of minutes to download. Now, if I go to view recent movies, it brings up the movie instantly, without waiting for download.
I checked the temp folder but could not find anything there.

how exactly do i clear the cache? i know that prob sounds stupid. More importantly though.. I am interested in finding the folder where these movies are stored, more for curiosities sake than anything else at this point.
thanks for all the help by the way !

edit: ok i found the clear cache option in disk cleanup and that also led me to find out that the movie files were in:
documents and settings/<insert my first initial, last name here>/local settings/temporary internet files.
this all came about today as i was checking out the most recent Kong trailer today in high def from the official web page of the movie. After watching then closing out quicktime, i was surprised it would load the movie so quickly again. So it appears it does store it on the computer.
