lol guys, Jimmy is being sarcastic. I know there was (and still is) a time in the US after 9/11 where any objection to a federal decision was considered anti-american or unpatriotic.

You want to talk about someone 'ruining' these types of threads, you could have when you PERSONALLY BY NAME called me out like you wanted to start an argument much earlier in this very thread. I dialed in common sense and realized you were not trying to pick a fight, ruin this thread, be mean, etc so I let it slide.

This thread shoudl have been closed after it started, BTW. If none are allowed, noen are allowed. Had Ingus started this(speaking of which, isn't he due for a drive-by-political-post?), it would have been locked right away.

Imho this thread you guys just likew to bash bush because well it's the easy thing to do and you'll swallow all the crap the media pushes out. The whole premise of this post is a bunch of garbage b/c it was democrat Charley Rangle (sp?) who initiated the bill to bring back the draft. Anyone who has any clue about how the military currently works would know that the number of peopel we have is fine in iraq and people like Rangle are just trying to undermine support for the war at home. This is the biggest problem with the democrats and the media they want to find the bad and actively seek out the bad in the war, and hell rangle even tried to make the bad by introducing a bill about making it a draft b/c he complained about the war being fought by only poor people.

The media and the democrats always do this kinda shit just like they're trying to make a witchhunt about the current supposed "unauthorized" wiretaps, and the patriot act. They're making a big deal over when the president uses executive privledge to get wiretaps on poeple that have information that is immediately nessicary to have and could either take too much time going through the 3-4 day process of approvals, or the people being tapped could find out about it themselves. Similar to when the freaking press reported how the US was getting intelligence from Bin Laden's sattellite phone and then he stopped using the phone b/c of the report. Now these wiretaps are authorized after the fact and the senate intelligence committees knew about it and theres reviews every 45 days on this, but of course they're just trying to ram down the idea that no really bush really cares about you trying to give trix to the rabbit. There has not been one instance of abuse of either this or the patriot act of the administration and imho these damn hippy, anti-war, anti-american, anti-anything that isn't green and a blade of grass dipshits need to extract their heads from their ass and realize that all it takes is one person with a dirty nuke to wipe new york. There are certain costs that come along with being the in time we are living with now and things like that include the government being able to find out if you've checked out "how to make a bomb" 30 times from a library or are e-mailing "hey muhammed I just thought of a great way where i can strap 1000 nails to my chest and explode myself in the middle of a club w/ teens in it" Is this so bad?

I got some more to say but we'll see.

BTW, I don't think self titled 'brilliant' posts typically consist of two paragraphs of run on sentences.
