i think i will wait for DVD on this one. I just can't seem to believe this is going to be good. I am sorta a movie buff and love good flicks but a movie about a guy who is older and still a virgin? c'mon and let me guess, his friends try to get him laid all movie and there is some slapstick humor? I don't know, to me it seems stupid and not worth my money.
Don't get me wrong, I think Steve Carrel is funny but this one just seems dumb.

Believe it or not, I have never seen the US version of "The Office". Although, I have seen the British one numerous times on BBC and I love it! Hilarious!

I also saw the BBC original version. I have seen some of the US version but was not impressed. The BBC version was superior in every way. Maybe it was because I saw it first? Maybe because the US show is imitating, sometimes scene by scene, the BBC one? I don't know but I suggest everyone check out the original version.

Office UK and USA are both great. The US version took a few episodes to get going, though. Very much worth 30 minutes of your time.

Extra's on HBO is also pretty good.

40 year old virgin is easily one of the funniest movies I have ever seen....

I didn't really think the American Pie series was all that funny.:)

It was better than you would think it is. It had the slapstick you would expect, but there were elements of it that you don't expect. I love the fact that the lead character isn't a complete retard like you think he will be. Also, his friends were more caring than you would expect from this kind of movie. The Indian guys cracked me up as well. Good DVD, some great clips of them doing improv (quite a bit of the film is improv), especially the 'I knew you were gay when...' bit.

Yah the indian/chineese dude was halarouius! He was like cussing and everything in a chinese accent...and was funny when he confronted him about him having a brooklin accent. One of the best parts was like when that one guy said something about the black dude looking like marrey or whatever that talkshow host guyes name was lmao...there was so many funny parts...lmao If you watch the dvd version with deleted scenes where instead of the girl puking on his face she puked on his lap and then a police officer pulled em over and she made him switch seats with him and then he had to get out and do a alcohol test thing and he couldnt walk straight even though he wasnt drunk I almost think they should have used that instead of what they used in the movie where he just got puked on the face which was realllllly grose btw...ok im done rambling....:D

Ditto what they guys above said. Yeah, you guessed the premise, but it's well done. The characters aren't flat, the humor is slapstick, but not all puke and sex jokes. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
