Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Awesome!

That's funny.. Obviously he's from the Fraternal Order of Millitant Rodents F.O.M.R. I've heard about those cheeky bastards. They keep their ammunition in their cheeks is what I mean. Ph3ar them for they are 1337.

I'm at war with F.O.M.R.! They have been fighting us black-footed ferrets for many years. Our number one enemy, (and lunch I might add) in F.O.M.R. are the top dogs, prairie dogs that is.

Oh.. we already tried that in the middle east. There are lots of you complaining about that too.

It's an interesting idea. At one point is it better to respect sovereignty and let people die? It's a sticky proposition. We could make the argument in a Holocaust situation that the Nazis and concentration camps were an 'internal issue'. Or bump off the corrupt rulers of Africa and save so many lives. Pretty tough judgement call. At this point in my life, I say screw helping people. The people you help will *always* hate you for it. It's like loaning money to a good friend, it always ends badly. Just one of the weird ways the world works.

If you just gave them your military budget, or even half of it when it comes to that, to buy food, build houses and install running water they would probably spend a great deal less of their time trying to work out new and interesting ways to kill you all. Just a thought...

It's a nice thought, but I stand by my POV, helping people is dumb. Seriously, give someone money and they WILL hate you for it. I say, stay out of people's business all together as much as possible.

And I'm glad Katrina happened because it shows everyone how we retarded humans are fucking up the Earth.

Granted I don't post much, but I do surf the site a fair amount. Most of girl's posts have always struck me as insightful or funny. This one...not so much.

This has to be one of the most asinine comments I have heard in awhile. Yes, New Orleans was nothing but drunks and crackheads and they all deserved to die or suffer the pain of watching family members die or losing everything they ever had. You really can't argue with that logic. All the folks along the Gulf Coast deserved the $80 billion dollars of loss inflicted upon them because they were all crackheads and drunks too.

Did people act like idiots following the disasters? Yes they most certainly did. Was it a majority? Not even close. So once again the few fool the ignorant in to attributing their actions to the many, and people like girl have free reign to issue free-ranging generalizations grounded in absolutely no fact.

That kind of ignorance is just dangerous.
