You have to remember that what made the original Band Of Brothers so great was that it was mostly a true story. I'm sure some elements were given a hollywood spin, but the base of the tale was about a group of very real people who did extraordinary things in the face of war.

I'll be interested to see who they follow in the island hopping, though I think it'll be the 28th Regiment, 5th Division (who I think were the guys involved with the infamous raising of the flag on Iwo Jima).

Infamous? Typo? I thought it was famous.. wasn't aware of anything bad associated with it. Not harrassing you if it is a mistake, just curious.

Pacific BoB sounds very interesting. Wonder what the characters are gonna be, I think they might make some of them related to the old characters.

Eh - I meant it more like ubiquitous... that pic is EVERYWHERE, especially when people talk about the Pacific Theater. There's nothing WRONG with it, it's just a bit played out in the WWII visuals. :)
