I am very interested how this post and the war will turn out with france having so much money invested in iraqi oil. No money for reconstruction, no say in post war rebuild. This has been made clear. Wow this oil situation might turn out good for the iraqi people. You don't think chirac and sadam had a little thing going on which perhaps benifitted the french oil companies andsadam/chirac and not the iraqi people? Hey, might have an economic impact on the french and we would hate to see that!

Bukakke, you say we are anti-semitic, but so is your country: 17% of America is anti-semitic. That is about 35 million people. Even if we are ALL anti-semitic (which is certainly not true), we are no match for that amount since Belgium has only 10 million of people.

What percentage is Belgium?

I have the feeling it is a bit larger of a percentage. And as the US is made up of just about every culture known, it only stands to reason we are going to have quite a number of anti semitics. What is Belgium's excuse?

No doubt Floppy, that we have racist living in the States, but the thing that separates us and you, is our Gov. Sure we protect Israel (the only Democracy in the Middle East) from being destroyed by the Arab world.

If we didnt defend them there wouldnt be an Israel to speak of, surely the Belgians would not run to their defense.

If you think that if we cut ties with Israel, the Arab Nations would leave them in peace and harmony, if you do, your nuts.

I just get this feeling that Europe has surrendered again, this time to the war on terrorism, lets blame the Jews, and appease our Muslim population. This way, they wont fly planes into our buildings while we are sitting at our desks, drinking coffee, reading the morning paper, putting out new framed pictures of our kids so the rest of the office can see, before another work day was to start.

Floppy,
We do not TRY to discriminate against any minority in the US. We all enjoy the same right to obtain the American dream. Perhaps the current anti-American feelings throughout europe has to do with the fact that we do not have to put someone down racially, to feel like big people, and this seems to be a historic trend for europe. Blame someone else, rather than face the facts.

The current problems that face the world will not go away without someone doing something about it. We are far from perfect, but do try to ensure the safety of all our citizens. That is what is going on in iraq right now.

No kidding... its all about oil for the French.

People that think that this war is all for oil~

Why would the US spend $60 billion in war and only recieve a $40 billion revenue in oil profits?
