I know it's old news by now, but there's a good little videoclip on the BBC page showing the robot in action. That thing really gets around, up stairs etc.

yea the EOD bomb bot....saw these fuckers on a daily basis in Iraq. pretty cool 'toys'.

Wouldnt a robot like that get shot up fairly easily?

At 200k a pop that can get expensive.

I'm sure much of it's structure can take a bullet hit, but yeah,the articles says they get blown up quite a bit. It's still cheaper and better than a US soldier getting hurt.
