Well atlleast the doctors saved her life. Thats what it is all about. Who cares about quality of life.

This isn't the first case of this allergy. NASA (or someone who got the idea from NASA) created a suit for a girl who had the same allergy. She was able to go outside in the sun but was covered head to toe and had really strong UV protection from sunlight.
