Zog, I can see that the water in Taiwan is having lasting effects on your brain cells. :P With that ratio, you're getting rid of the strikes, fer sure, BUT...

Panzer's For EVERYONE. The no-talents will surely be firing up the place with panzer rounds. If an all-out-Panzer war is what you're looking for, those settings would be SWEET.

the 1 1 1 10 ratio is good but i think Zog means it with still the pantzer/flamer limit... and maybe also limit on venom... so that we have soldiers with a thompson/mp40 (what is quite useless in a clanwar) but it will be a lot of fun... it will be very realistic and it makes the roles of ltn. and medic etc. very important ... i think we should try it... (or maybe to make soldiers a little more important a new weapon... or better a single player weapon... the unscoped mauser... with the same accuratie as in the single player...

cause i watched a movie, don't know if it is a realistic one but all the soldiers had an unscoped mauser and only ltn's and medic's had thompson... (weren't engineer's in the movie :P)

i think it's a good idea, tell me if you're gonna try it for an evening... that i'll come ;)

The people who voted for the first option are evil. Evil to the core. Vote 0 lieutenant charge, if not for yourself, but for the little ally that spawns and gets blown to pieces as soon as he leaves the bunker. Will you open your heart and think of the little ally that just wants to go home to his family?

Here is how I see it, all the classes have at least 1 extra clip of ammo, all classes have at least 2 grenades, Nobody should need ammo as soon as they spawn.

Many of the airstrikes come when 10-15 Lt's spawn at the same time, run outside and drop there smoke canister or call in for artillery.

None of the changes will affect how fast you can drop ammo.

The first option WILL NOT STOP the airstrikes from people who spawn run out side and call them.

Starting with 0 charge for the Lt's will stop the airstrike-die-airstrike-die-airstrike-die people. It will also make the Lt do more. He will be fighting like everyone else instead of worrying about airstrikes. He will also be able to give an ammo pack every 15 seconds just like he can now

So by having the Lt start with a 0 charge, teamwork will be increased (for those who care about that), airstrikes will be reduced more than the other option, and, LAG will be reduced.

Yes thats right lag reduced. When someone throws an airstrike the server must send that info to all the clients, and with 64 players is it not doing enough already. Also client side video lag occurs with more airstrikes, all that smoke and explosions puts a load on a video card.

The best choice would have to be 120 second charge time, 1/8 bar for ammo, 1/2 bar for nade, start with 0 LT charge

i got some tweaks so i don't see the airstrike... only some white smoke... that does a lot against lag ;)

We are planning on turning on PB in the future, I suggest disabling this or you wont be able to connect.

I have chosen the first option, 120 second charge, 1/8 charge bar for ammo packs.

Let me know how it is.

i play always with it, it is an accepted tweak by pb but morely used by 56k users... but i use it because i've only 650mhz Athlon... and in this times of 3ghz comps...
