I used it today as I was on the road for about 5 hours, i just listened to his music with the Fm transmitter, it was soooo nice not to have to hear the commercials on the radio.

Get all excited, re format it so I can put all MY music and pictures and then DOH!! I forgot I don't have usb 2.0... bummer. Oh well I can update it at work until I get a card.

So far so good though, i absolutely love it for those long road trips I have to take almost weekly.

Doesnt matter what computer you use it on. It wont format unless you tell it to do so.

Best thing to do is re-sync it so it matches the new computer.

I cant stand Itunes so I use

Works fairly well and isnt loaded down with Itunes crap... I do have an older generation Ipod though, so dont know how well it may work with Photo or Video pods..

The only deal with multiple computers is how many are authorized to play your itunes-purchased music. It's either five or seven. The iPod does have a lot of annoying quirks, and you can get better features on some of the creative models, but sum-total the ipod/itunes system works fairly well. I've owned three now, and I wouldn't say they're perfect.
