Who's into paintballing?

Postby RCglider » Tue Jun 20, 2006 8:21 am

Ferret's been bugging me for a few years to buy a gun (I know, the PC term is marker). Now that my son's old enough I bought him one this year, now I'm getting one thanks to Ferret.

So, does anyone play?

What's your favorite type of play? Woods? Open field? Night?

BTW Ferret, I hope that gun is the real deal!! The price seems too good to be true.

RCGlider, what gun? I would get your boy a Tippmann 98 Custom or A-5 to start out with.

Got him a 98 Custom ACT.

I got a new Vector M1 off ebay for $45. Ferret actually bid for me as my employer blocked Ebay (don't know why  ). If it works, good enough for me.

We have 1 mile square of woods behind our place, several fields and sand pits so no shortage of places to play.

Looks like fun.

I personally like playing in the woods regular capture the flag scenario the best. I've only played speedball once, and although it was fun I liked the longer more stealthy woods game.
