Ovechkin > Crosby, I kind of saw that coming, I also think Svatos is better then Crosby sometimes, they are pretty close though. In other news, Pallfy retired from the NHL and Flyers need to trade Esche for some offense.

Clarke traded Seidenberg for Nedved from the Coyote's today. Another young player given up for an older veteran. We will see how this turns out. True, seidenberg wasnt playing much and the Flyers do have a lot of young defensemen in the mix right now. My gut feeling is that Nedved will score early on and win over the fans but then will taper out come playoff time.

Dude... I mean ,, Duuude! What are the Blues doing? It's obvious they are giving up on this season and rebuilding fof the future. They trade thier two top players in the last couple days for draft picks. Top goal scorer Sillinger (a former Flyer) to the Preds and top points guy Weight to Carolina (not happy about that)

Sabres beat the Flyers hands down. Outshot the Flyers 16-3 in the first period. Although the goal Esche gave up that bounced up in the air and off someone's skate was a little flukey.. But then again, so was Knuble's goal late that caught Miller out of the net.
The Sabres are riding high right now and the Flyers are in a terrible slump.

It was a fun game to watch. I think that shots on goal difference in the first period was the Sabres' best all year. I thought it was the best defensive game they played all year, most of the analists here in Buffalo said the same thing.

Next on the list, tomorrow vs. Ottawa. Tommy, I am scared!!!

You people miss the big picture. Peter Forsberg. He didn't play of course we are going to lose. Not many people yet have realized how much of the team he actually is.Beat us when Peter plays, and I'll be impressed.

This is actually AHL news more than NHL.. but check out this goal from Robert Nilsson of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. You have to go to the bottom of the page to click the wmv link to view the highlight. This has been done before but it is always an amazing play.
