Afraid of heights? Okay... a huge fall can kill you... makes sense.

Afraid of the dark? Okay... a fear of the unknown... I can understand that.

Afraid of sharks/snakes/spiders/etc? Okay... creatures that can either cause harm, death, or at least look like they can... okay, I can understand not liking that.

Afraid of pickles?! No. Unacceptable. That's like being afraid of a rock or a radio alarm clock or a pile of paperclips or shoes or Doritos....
