Just an idea dude, if tht were mine id get rid of the drop, bigger profile = easier to get shot, lol and just keep the asa alothough u mite need a dovetail adaptor.
Also i would buy a new frame, cept its pricey try and get an element v2, they feel so nice lol, and in my opinion get a t board im not too fond of blackhearts just lacking features IMO, but whatever floats your boat.

Also i recommend getting the lucky stages 2 and 3 and a qev best combo ive seen, is stages 2 and 3, 360 qev, firebolt, with dwell at 5, psi @ 100 and fps @280 +- 1 lol!

Just speaking out of experince i was amazed wen i got the lucky stages.

Dont mean to piss on your parade lol but feel free to piss on my ion:
Dye stickies
Element v2 frame
stages 2+3
360 qev
element body
vp sycthe
freak "16 AA barrel
check it unimount
t board
and a stock reg! lol nice gun btw

Why would I want a longer gun? A drop forward does not make your profile that much bigger and it allows me to play tighter. I think I'll eventually get a second Ion and mod it a different way than the one I have. Maybe milsim/tactical like..

Why would I want a new frame? For looks? I like the way my gun looks and feels and I don't need anything else though I do have a second body coming that is gloss black to gloss orange. It looks very nice actually..

What advantage will I get over a Blackheart? I don't need to shoot anywhere near 20BPS+ and a board is just a board. I think it's funny when people need to get the newest and best board because it's the "in thing" to do or makes them look professional. Features are not really needed.

I've heard great things about Lucky products, but really haven't looked at them too much. Got any insight into their products? Definitely need a QEV though. Still checking out the best price for a good one and not some cheap ass one that won't work well.

Seeing Evan's signature reminds me how much I like to call people some combo of a tool.

no worries mate im just sayin, u know every man to his own etc. but if ya guna get the qev get the 360, so much easier to install erm lucky stages are a new firing can and a new rear swivel donut, also killa detents are a good thing to have (if u dont already) i was playing one day and saw a black thing shoot out the end of my barrel! i had no idea wht it was and i wondered why balls were rolling out the barrel lol. but back to the lucky stages you can purchase them from http://www.lucky-paintball.com or just parooze at your own will.

EDIT: oh btw the lucky stages really do increase perfomance air effeiceny dwell can be lowered etc. worth the money in my opinion. oh and you can get them if diff colours too :D

Nice looking gun Evan. The parts list is all Greek to me, but it looks impressive :)

I finally received my gun (or is the PC term "marker" required now?).

My son and I duelled it out in the woods tonight. Hehe, the old man out foxed the young lion by attrition. The mosquitoes flushed him out.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but paintballs don't hurt as much as BB's like we did 30 years ago.

I'm definitely getting a sight rail.

Thanks again Ferret, I really like the gun.
