Yeah so, I was late getting home the other day, so I ended up taking the company car. Little did I know it wasn't a car. After a few seconds I ended up in china. Eventually I managed to stop and ask for directions, then I was on my merry way. Sorry to disrupt everyone. :roll: :D

Remember, you didn't see anything...

Yes we did.

Sayntfuu, you may want to check this out;

There's a version performed by a group called Therion, on their Deggial album that you might find interesting at the very least. It's a heavy metal version of the piece. The band (typically) seems a bit over-the-top.

I still haven;t nailed down the exact version from that clip, but did run across some interesting variations.

Zog, if you ever figure it out, definitely let me know. I've been hooked on Carmina Burana since I first saw John Boorman's Excalibur in the 80's.

Sorry to sidetrack the thread... back to the show.

So far, I've downloaded literally 20 different versions, but none matching that clip.

It's easily distiguished by the way it starts. The other versions all start off soft, where-as this one sounds distinctly foreboding.

Updates to follow...
