It's just a fucking word. I can understand christians getting pissed if you use the lords name in vain or whatever but other than that I can't see how fucking is any better or worse than 'making love'.
It's like I think the word vagina is infinately more unpleasant that pussy or snatch it's so damn clinical it hurts. Also someone explain to me the fact that poo is acceptable, crap is on the fence and shit is a no no when they all mean the same exact thing. It's time to get over this ridiculous prudish obsession which dictates which word you should or shouldn't use.

Yeah i saw that episode and it bleeped it. And Family Guy rocks i can't believe you haven't heard of it! lol oh well

From what I have read it went out on the Fox feed early and some stations didn;t beep that part. Scattered reports from around the country say there was no beep. Most markets did have the beep though.
I agree with SavageParrot all the way. You would think that after 250 odd years we would have moved past our Puritan roots.
Fuck it, Lewis Black on profanity.

The funny thing is that the words that are considered bad are subject to fashion. For example in the 17th century Cunt (I starred it out then thought that would be hypocritical so put it back

I have friends whose mother used to prefer them to use the phrase 'bottie burp' in place of fart. Now that to me is just plain twisted and wrong

In the US, when a man is talking to a woman, the word 'cunt' is the equivalent of a weapon of mass destruction. Seriously. It's the single worst word to say to them, in my (unfortunate) experience.

It seems to carry less weight with the British though, I hear it in British movies a lot, kind of casual.
