I've strongly considered letting someone else do my lawn for me, but I've got a fair amount that I keep well-cut (about 50,000 square feet) and it just costs too much to pay someone. Besides, I've already invested in all the neat John Deere toys!

And you get it cut once every two weeks? Holy wha! I honestly wish I could get away with that!! If I stick to the ol' "cut 1/3 of the height off", and cut it down to about 2.75" or so, then I need to mow about every 4-5 days in the peak growing season, and every 7-8 days when growth has slowed down. <shrug>

at this point, my lawn grows to about 4.5 inches before the next cut, higher it is the better, keeps a real green look to it, but yes need to mow usually once a week, but I like the high look most of the times
