ok well this is good, the number of people that want to change it back is now greater then the number that like the new map, so MMmmGood I am wondering if you can keep an eye on this thread and maybe atleast do a rotation of some sort, if not change it back. but I'm not out for a kill I just would like to see the old beach back, what made it fun was how well everyone knew it, really hard core shit going on. thanks MmmGood in advance, and thanks everyone who voted. and please keep voting.

i see more better players then there used to be the players that only played beach because it was the only map where they could get kill all left and thats good. i allso saw a few players from a couple of months ago that stopped playing beach. this fun beach is a nice change im looking forward to the next change.

I like the old beach personally, just more acustomed to it. But I also think this "FunBeach" is a little more competitive and alot more challenging, more team work needs to be applied rather than the same 3 or 4 players hammering it out in the war room

i prefer the old beach map, cos when being spawned if the bunker has benn reclemed by the axis, you don´t have to make a long way around to get to the bunkers again, this new map it´s bigger, and sometimes runs slower on my PC, even with the minimun settings. What´s more i disappoint this map because if you are not an engineer, it´s going to be imposible to win the match destroying the radio trnsmiter

though something interesting in this map, is the fact that it is so big it would support 128 players, if that would be possible, ( i already know a wolf server just can support up to 64 players) although it would be a intense bloodbath!!!

Yeah i agree with amaryl about spawn and engineer its impossible to win as an engineer in that map and axis are way to close to the spawn flag, when I played last night in the hole 20 mintues i was there i didnt start from spawn flag once. That pissed me off exteremely, and i dont plan on coming back, unless something changes.

The more I play the new one , the more I like it. There are more strategies in the bigger map too. I agree though that there should be 2 servers.

Yeah, I can play on the new map, but I think its dumb how you bust down strairs and there you are a medic just waiting for something to happen. You have to be an engineer to win. If your an engineer you don't have any real way of helping your team other then not dying. planting of course but I mean no meds/bullets. I had tons of fun on the old beach with a decent group of guys and it was getting less serious, thats what was so fun. If I panzered 4 people in one blast they'dd all laugh, and if they did it to me I'dd laugh too. Now most of those people are gone looking for other beach servers. Just from my perspective.

since we switched to fun beach, i missed all our admins saying to stop firing panzers in the forward bunker. now they have to find some other spot to fire a panzer AND screw the whole team. i also agree that the action is better in beach since everyone (almost) knows it.:ar15:

The possiblity eould a perfect team work, but this is not going to happen unless there are people that has been working together for a long time,there are too many people new on this server that just stay around fragging what they see ( no offense ) but an engineer cannot do anything inside the bunker if there is not a medic or a lieautenant suplying medkits and ammo, amd covering while he is puttng dynamite near the radio transmiter.

There are some spawn point issues with fun beach, also I noticed if you get on top of the one spawn point building with the ladder and then throw nades or airstrikes, if you try to throw them far, they get sucked up into nothingness!

I guess the "ceiling" on the map needs to be raised a little (if possible)....

But it's still a lot of fun...

I really dislike those spawn points, becuase its constant allied spawn killing til axis can get that bunker back. Snipers are always everywhere making 50% of all doors impassible and it is a rediculous thing to try to plant dyno. Thats just a little fustrating for me because I battle my way there, one time through 3 people, with a shread of life left I threw down my dyno and POP! sniper got me. That sucked but see that same sniper got me for 4 more tries. While I'm fighting just to get there this sniper is just sitting there clicking the mouse button. Finally when I did plant he had shot me once and killed me when I planted. Its that stuff that pisses me off, cause at the old beach its what goes around comes around. Sure I'm a panzer but on allies I'm a medic. and I dish out a walluping on axis but then I get massicured trying to get in one allies so its even. I can't believe I thought snipers were bad on the old beach. on this beach you can't even find where they are most of the time.

I agree with (>Tool<) sniper seemed to have in this map a more important role but now it seems that the game can be imposible to be played for the allies, just the example written above ( Try to drop a dyno near the door and BLAP, you have just got a nice 7,62 mm bullet in your head, nice shooting right???), something positive in this map is the last modification of the lower access, there are now 4 ways to reach the upper ground, but it doesn´t matter though because there is an axis guy with a panzer, grenade, and FLAP, OH no!, I´ve been spawned on the beach again!!!!, even when allies have taken the bunker frag!!, and happens all over again, I REALLAY GOT SICK EVERYNIGHT about doing a walk around the beach, I prefer doing a walk on the beach this summer on Mallorca...
