The HALO Killer's

Postby Spade18 » Sun Nov 05, 2006 6:50 pm

I hear way to much junk about my game halo. We all know that game just kicks butt, so why fight it. But you know there will always be haters; why I don't know...

And let me hear your sides of the stories..

HALO is a good game. However, it's meant to be played with a mouse and keyboard.. not a silly controller!

They already proved that a pro console team w/controllers vs. a random HALO team on the PC will LOSE to the people playing on the PC.

Heh.

halo did absolutely nothing for me except give me the ability to use the disc as a coaster.

I played Halo on PC and didn't care much for it. After playing so many other first person shooters, it just felt... slow... or something. Hard to put my finger on it. Not bad, just not my style, I guess.

And I'll take keyboard/mouse over controller for first person shooters any day. My aim is way more accurate with it. But, then again, Halo had a gigantic aiming reticle that allowed you to be not-so-perfect with your aim.

To each their own, though. If a controller scheme works better for you, then so be it. Like in the BF series, some swear by keys/mouse for controlling air vehicles... others swear by joystick. If you're on my team, I don't care what you use so long as you're good at using it.

I agree. He must be a moron (or he hasn't ever played a PC game).

Don't want to hijack the topic but....

Its hard to say for sure but "Mouse vs Controller" might make
for a pretty good debate topic.

Well I enjoyed playing halo, the multiplayer is fun.
I also enjoy playing battlefield 2 & 2142. They both have their strong points.

As for the debate between controller vs keyboard/mouse, I can't say. They both have pros and cons about them, which to me make them even, but that is neither here nor there.

ahem... EastBlade here, I know I don't speak as much anymore but hey, I shall SPEAK NOW!

I for one, am a gamer. I play games. Consol, or PC, controller, or mouse, I don't care. As a true gamer, all that matters is:

1) I'm having fun
2) I like it
3) eh... yeah, 1 and 2

EastBlade out.
