Ventrilo/TeamSpeak issues.

Postby [ecgn] btt » Thu Nov 09, 2006 5:07 pm

If anyone has any ideas, I am all ears. When I use Vent, it won't let me push to talk until I go into setup and come out of setup. Then when I talk I sound like a demon child. I have reinstalled Vent twice and still have the same issue. Here is the kicker. If I start up Vent I get this issue. But if I leave Vent running and start up TS. Well Then I sound fine on TS and Vent. Or just TS and I sound fine. If I start TS then Vent I sound fine on both. WTF. I am using on board sound and TS and Vent have worked find since I have used them.

well when all else fails check and see if there is an updated driver for your sound. Or try uninstalling both Vent and TS and install the new sound driver before reinstalling Vent and TS. It definately sounds like a software issue so try that first and if that still doesn't do it I might have another idea or 2.
