Medieval 2: Total War

Postby TiNM@N » Tue Nov 21, 2006 3:11 pm

So this game was released a week ago and I haven't heard any opinions from any of you.

I'm enjoying it abit Just beat the long campaign (hold 45 regions and take Jeruslem) with England in around 210 turns, think your aloted 225 to accomplish the mission.

I'll try to post some screen shots of night battles and flaming arrows and my faction controling most of the world.

Yeah i got it, think its been out more than week though. Either way i hold Jeruselem and about 28 regions as England. Although i am struggling a bit. I have been badly betrayed by numerous European nations, I am currently at war with Portugal, France, Milan, Denmark, Holy Roman Empire, Moors, Egypt, and the Huns. I have wiped out Scotland :) The problem is im surrounded, i have taken alot of Central Europe and i lack the finacial capability to attack on more then one front at a time. Plus only 1 or 2 of the European nations are excommunicated at 1 time.

Basil: Well you started it

German tourist: No we didn't

Basil: Yes you did, you invaded Poland

Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Yes. Yes. This is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it… "This Land."
Wash [as Allosaurus]: I think we should call it "your grave"!
Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Ahh! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
Wash [as Allosaurus]: Har har har! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die!
[The Allosaurus attacks the Stegosaurus.]
Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Ohhh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

it is really fun battles and the campaign game are way cooler. one thing i don't like is that the turns seem to take longer.

Just reinstalled Rome TW today, actually. Might have to pick this up a few months down the line(want to wait until I am sick of Rome first).
