Scary...
#1, though, is a little strange. Nobody in his right mind goes to Yakutsk by road, even the locals use air transportation. Under the soviet regime, air transport in Siberia was incredibly cheap anyway, maybe as an incentive for colonists.

Bolivia's "Road of Death"
Was a show on this road last night on the History channel. People are crazy to drive it. Average 20 deaths per mile.
