Any suggestions on a new Headset???

Postby CreepingCharlie » Sat Jan 20, 2007 7:50 pm

Well, my second headset has just went to shit. My earphones or wire to them have took a shit one me. It works sometimes and the half it doesn't. Funny since the first one I got (same one as the second) the mic died on me. This one the headphones die on me:mad:. Started doing this about 2 days ago. So what would you guys suggest to get?

I'm looking for something that I won't have to break my wallet every 6-12 months(since that seems to be about the average life span for at least mine anyway).

I use these. I like them. I break them a bit. But that is because my chair catches the cord now and then. :(

I'll just have to get something by the PRM BOTR. They work whenever I move the wire in a good spot, so I'm thinking that maybe somewhere in the line either something is freyed or loose or some of the soldering is gone on the connection. So who knows.
I'm kinda really not willing to spend $40+ on a headset again. I had to rush deliv the ones I have now b/c the first pair my mic died and we had a BOTR in about 2 weeks. Kinda funny since we have one in the next couple of weeks. Should I go with Stero jack or with USB port (I've been using USB)?

Now for the Gamecom/pro1 is it a USB or Stereo plug-in?
