The specs from the first post look ok, except for the drive. I'd go at least 250GB or more. You may not need it today, but...
And, I'd switch out that video card. Get something in the 7900 series. Even the 7900GS will give better results than the 7300.
I just built a new rig in November, I can give you a parts list if you would like. I spent around $1000 back then. Should be able to do it much cheaper today. it plays BF2, BF2142, WoW, EQ2, and anything else I throw at it. Although, I found it's better to install the game than throw it at the computer.
Physically putting it together is not that tough. Mentally putting it together, could take longer.
That would be great. Thats all the games i'm looking to play. I dont need anything to fancy. I have a 2600+ right now with a 4x agp slot :/. I cant even play regular BF without video lag.

I'm going to look around locally atm. If I see something good enough i'm going to buy it. I checked my savings and I have $932.00 I think i'm just going to go retail. So i get a decent warranty.
