Are they not trying to merge. I have XM with my Direct TV. I don't like it much. A buddy of mine has Sirius and he loves it. If I were to go get one it would be Sirius.

I have XM and I love it. I have a portable MP3 player version(Pioneer). It lets me record any music that I hear over the XM radio. Its way easier than having to search on the internet for illegal downloads when you can just copy it like this. I would recomend XM...I think the only major difference between the two companys is the sports...you basically get the same music either way you go...


Anyways whenver they merge sopposedly both subscribers will get almost all of the stations of sirius and XM...but you will have to pick which sports you want when you subscribe....Which can mean you can get every sport if you wanted to...just more money you have to fetch up on the table.

Back on topic though, you can't go wrong with Sirius. For the mere fact that Stern is on there, its worth the monthly fee. Regular radio has become rather pointless between all the weak radio DJ's who add nothing to our daily lives and the controlled radio stations that only play what record labels pay them to play.

i have xm and i must say im not too pleased with it. its better than am/fm radio by far but there are too many http://www.gotomypc.com advertisments and stuff like that... there awfull... however the comedy channels are worth it all
