The oil companies don't/won't compete with one another, the fix is in my freinds.

Why isn't the United States, which is a huge argicultural power, leading the world in ethanyl production? See above.

I thought youed never ask. :)

How about the electric generator. I have re-invented that. I got the idea when I saw a show about this ( http://www.spacedaily.com/news/laser-97b.html ) ten years ago. Take the "lightcraft" and attach it to a ring of magnets that are levitating over another ring of magnets with a shaft in the middle. . Wrap with copper wire and use an electric laser to turn it. Hook one up to laser and line up a few more to do what you want with. Does this make sense to anyone. :D

The problem with E85 is that not many gas stations carry it, and it still takes pretroluem to produce E85. Up here in ND I hardly see any station that soley has a pump for E85. They put a marginal amount of it in the regular gas ~10% I think, not much. We need to figure out a way to make the batteries last much longer, recharge faster, make the style of the car much better, have car companies start making more gas efficient cars/trucks, start having bio-diesel, Tony can pull up the schematics for all of this:D

I think we're about to see a huge campaign (paid for by oil co's) to just drag the concept of Ethanol through the mud. When these guys get done 99% of America will be talking about what a horrible concept Ethanol is.

They have the money to make this happen. Instead they'll push other things that they know will take decades to perfect, so they have enough time to make all the money they can from oil. Let's face it, there's still trillions of dollars worth of oil to be had, and no one walks away from that kind of money willingly.
