ECGN Radio

Hey guys...Just a quick raise of hands is needed. But how many people actually listen to ECGN Radio? I was chatting with Ryan earlier, and he said that only 4 people auditioned last night for the role of DJ. Personally, I love the idea of being able to play music for everyone, and to also listen to what other people have to play. Just curious….

I listen when I can find another guy playing... More often than not though, whenever I hop on ye ole PC station is empty and I start to broadcast. I know that during the day I get HOUNDED by Camel and Buliwyf for requests. Just teasing, it's nice to get requests and actually play to an interactive audience.

I listen, although I have a pretty selective taste in music and I have anothe internet radio station that I listen to all the time. It is nice to tune in to ECGN though.

Starlight we are talking about the station that ECGN just put up about a week or so ago. There is more info about the station and myself in particular HERE . Not a whole lot of DJ's yet but they are fixing that now.

I listen to it when Im playing planetside. I tried to while I was playing 42 but I dont think BF liked it very much as I kept getting dropped.

Thats kick ass! Just to listen though you need to download which now? Im confused...lol excuse my brain but its like 5 in the am and I really should be asleep lol...

I have winamp and I use it for everything! Winamp is the best imo.

News to me but I will listen. Have relatives visiting and the wife says that I am "rude" if I go off and play. Damn censorship!!!!

That would be me... Got a surprise event sprung on me, and my current list was almost dead. George Carlin and Robin Williams are not exactly "working environment" listening material... So I went through grabbed a bunch of stuff I haven't played yet and threw it together real quick. Was a primarily tame selection for the most part.

The following is a site that was running a stream for Eve players. If you scroll down to the second or third news item, you can see that the RIAA sent them a cease and desist letter.

Doesn't the RIAA have bigger fish to fry? Guess since they were unsuccesful against some of the PnP services, they are now going to attack on a smaller, more personal level.
