I can't even get it out the window. It keeps falling just short. I'll give up though before I become addicted and waste my day...

The best I did was a little over 97, but I am not in the top 50,000 worldwide. I also noticed the longest flights seem to come from planes that do a loop-de-loop over top of the chimney stack.
If you want to get out of the window, try to fly the plane at about medium height. Choose a flight path which is about even, but slightly downward. I can usually get the plane out of the window in the first two to three attempts doing this.

Aiming it a little downward is the key. Also, make sure to drag your mouse left, then whip it back right.
