So I'm finally done flying for now and got my private pilots licence for fixed wing. Going for my helicopter rating in the fall.

Here are some photos I have:

As you can see, its pretty flat up in ND. Not much going on for terrain features. The first 4 pictures are from my first solo flight, the rest of them are from my solo cross-country.

Congrats! I'm very impressed.
So, as I understand it, part of getting the license is making your first solo cross country trip? It's kind of 'Old World'-ish in a way, the boy hero venturing out into the wilderness alone, LOL.
How far did you fly cross country? How nervous were you on your first solo flight?

"Does Maverick know you stole his sunglasses?"

Maybe.....:D

I flew 228 nautical miles in all. Took about 3 hours to do so. Nervous? Just a little bit. I've done 2 solo flights before one in the traffic pattern (last pic on right is when I in the traffic pattern) and the second is when I went out to one of our practice areas that we have. Those are the first four pics. Thats when I was coming back and got some pics of the city from the air. I was nervous on my first solo flight just because I didn't have my instructor with me and my second one, it was the first time going to one of our pratice areas by myself. Bit nerve racking but I here and alive so I'm happy:)

The only thing I was nervous about on my cross-country was getting into different airports along the way. I went to 2 different airports and landed there. I'm on my own and I have never flown into those airports so talking on the radio and hoping nobody was around was on my mind. It wasn't hard to get there. I plugged in my route into the GPS and I'm was set. I had my VOR tuned into also but didn't really be that great of a use to me. So I just followed the pink line on the GPS to get me to where I was going. Easy.
