I've been working. New job, new house, New students, tons of paperwork most of my computer time has been writing IEPs for work and grading papers. I miss BF42 and BFV being able to jump in for a few rounds and getting work done, WOW was all consuming and killed my work ethic, and I never got past getting slaughtered every time I logged into BF2. So, I have been looking for a new game not a second job in the disguise of a game. Slaughter says Crisis looks good, and I have heard good things about TF2 but haven't seen it around here, have to go into a bigger city to find it. I need time to  and :ar15: some of you guys.

Me, I'm trying to find some time for Silent Hunter III.

The game itself is fun, pretty much far cry 2 IMO. But You really need a supercomputer to run it. I only get 10-15 FPS on very high with an 8800GTX. Haven' tried lowing the settings yet though

SHIII was a fun sim a few years back, I believes there's some excellent mods out for it now!

Welle SH IV came out recently, looks very good (sub war in the Pacific!) especially if you enjoyed SH III and the old "Silent Service" (which I played on the Commodore 64).

But my P4 2GHZ with ATI 9800 won't play it. I won't even try Crysis.

O do I remember that game. I loved it even if I could never get much done in it.

SHIV is excellent - if you liked SHIII, you'll love SHIV, I think. Crysis is beautiful, but you really need a top-of-the-line machine to really make it work.

For me, it's TF2 and... something else that I can't talk about. Image

After getting away from WoW a month or two ago, I've been catching up on lots of console games I never played.

Since September I've played and beaten:

1. Castlevania : Aria of Sorrow
2. Castlevania : Harmony of Dissonance
3. Mega Man X
4. Mega Man X-2
5. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
6. Mega Man X-3
7. Mega Man
8. Mega Man X-4
9. Mega Man X-5
7. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice for All

And I'm in the middle of playing:
9. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow* 60%
10. Castlevania: Circle of the Moon* 30%
11. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney/ Trials and Tribulations* 10%
12. Mega Man 2* 20%
13. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess* 40%
14. Mega Man X-6 20%

Also been doing a lot of reading, this entire year actually. Told myself in January I would read at least 50 new books this year.. I just finished book number 59, going to try for 100.. I may make it :)

Also, I've been loving the MegaMan X series ;) Great older games, awesome story, robots, robot guns and swords, what more can you ask for? Also it's by Capcom, so of course the music is insanely great. Oh and I've been playing RTCW of course, again, for the past month or so. Took a long break (Like I said, I was addicted to WoW).

Rehabbing my ass and other malfunctioning bodyparts as various docs see fit, seems to be my role for the near future. Do what I can to avoid having them connect some sort of drug pump into my spinal column anytime soon, bastards are crazier than I am, I swear!

Just now starting to get back into any kind of gaming and nothing new at that. My rig is still the same one I had two years ago...? something like that anyway, just new display and sound devices. Hoping to ease back into playng WoW again just to see if I can put in any kind of decent time into PC gaming again if I can, I am hoping to check out the orange box (post upgrades I think). Also looking to put some time into beating FF XII for the PS2 since FF XI is the only other game in the main series that I have not played/beaten (for obvious reasons I think) I want to get her done before too much longer. Aside from those as future plans I am still an almost rabid anime fan and pick-up many new fansubs every season. Enjoy watching my h.264 HD encodes on my 1080i HD 64" widescreen TV/display device.

Didn't remember you having history in Sac... Grew up there till I was 15 1/2 Lived all over the place, mostly around Florin Rd, or Mather Airfield when it was still open (I think I remember hearing it was closed down by the military). Last time I was up there was the same year we had the ECGN get together, still have family and friends up there. Wowsers, world does seems small at times... :freak:
