World Monopoly

Postby Jungle_Fowl » Sat Feb 02, 2008 11:19 am

Well I just found out about this, and thought it was pretty neat. Monoploy is having a vote for which cities will be included in the upcoming world monopoly.

http://www.monopolyworldvote.com/en_CA/world/leaders

Thats the rankings so far, and its open for another 27 days.

If you do decide to vote, as a favor all I ask is that you vote for Montreal, Madrid, and Amsterdam (and then what ever other cities you want). This way Toronto will hopefully be pushed off the top 20 list

And I'll vote for which ever cities you guys want ;)

Seconded. Who would want Toronto anyway? It beats Anchorage on the boring scale.

Added Barcelona, London, Copenhagen, Rome, Paris and Zurich.

Thankfully there is at least one American city on it. Otherwise they would have to consider changing the name from World Edition to Foreign Edition. What a lame idea to have people vote. They aren't smart enough to think of 20 major world cities on their own?

I'd say its a nice marketing ploy. If you vote and your city gets a place on it, you may actually want to buy it since you had a say in whats on the board.

They could have just used the top 20 cities, but it wouldn't have been as fun
