Audi R8
Saw the ad during the superbowl and I realized I like where Audi is going design wise.

Didn't like the commercial but I liked the car though.

[color="White"]Ron Burgundy: I saw that. Brick killed a guy. Did you throw a trident?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident.

How long has this car been available? I saw it on the commercial and thought "That's a great looking car..." but I've never heard of it before then.
Then yesterday I'm at a client's home and his neighbor has one parked in his driveway. Has this car been available for a while?

A lot of websites I checked out say 2007 - present, so under a year.

It's a fine looking car. Still if it's anything like the TT it will be driven by mainly dicks...

I thought the prerequisite of becoming an Audi owner was to be a dick. I like my Bugatti Veyron personally

Re: Audi R8
Yeah but the veyron would cost you 840k, theoretically, that's if you could find one of the 50 or so people that own one who will want to sell, of course. And Volkswagon aren't likely to be making any more because while they are selling them for 840k they actually cost 5 million to make ;D
Re: Audi R8
well, the price isn't too bad considering the car. I always thought they were sold around 1.7-1.8 mil. The car is just a marketing scheme anyways I'm sure.

Re: Audi R8
Nah they veyron is more R&D made flesh than marketing. Otherwise they'd play up the VW aspect a whole lot more...

Re: Audi R8
If I had about 120k to spend on a car, just look at my forum name, and that's where it would go.
