Man the multiplayer looks like fun. Since I don't have an Xbox 360, here's to hoping the next gen console games will port to the PC better.

Multiplayer is great on this!!
you can cause all sorts of mayhem: Drive bys, rocket launcher racing, catching yourself on fire and running around scaring the pedestrians. Loading a sedan up with 4 friends and randomly rear end some CPU driver, when he gets out of his car all pissy, everyone jumps out and goes rodney king on his ass.
Car races, cops n crooks, hang out at the strip club(sorry Donkey no male dancers), Total chaos when 16 players get online and destroy the city, its great fun!

Friend has it. Only played one round of online play and it was, well...meh, to say the least. Shooting features target lock on, so not much skill involved there. Bigger, better weapon= win in any gun duel. Single play and missions are fun though. Graphics are good overall, but can still be grand theft auto-ish here and there while playing. I really like the lighting and colors though, especially at night. They did a great job with that.

Random, most of the online rounds I haev played have the "Auto-Aim" turned off so it requires skill then, yeah Auto-aim online is kinda lame.

I played it again last night and I take back my last comment, fully. We had only played death match which had auto-aim on, the night before. There are so many other online game features it's really unbelievable. Me and my buddies played the GTA Race mode for like 4 hours last night. It's a riot watching 16 people trying to race and half crash on the first turn. I love when people know they are out of the race so they set up road blocks with stolen cars and shoot at you. I came in first in a helicopter race last night. Mad fun. Cops n' robbers is fun too.

Like
Hijack the armored car and deliver it to the safe house.
Kill so and so who is trying to deliver fish to the mayor..
Dump these cars into the river to get rid of evidence.

Everyone competes to get the job done and earn $.

Great fun shooting a rocket launcher at a guy trying to deliver the stolen armored car, or shoot his tires out so he cant control it.

I learned my lesson after vice city, don't ever buy a console game that was ported over to PC

1) controls suck
2) 45 bucks for a game that should be worth 20
3) original started on PC (GTA1,GTA2)
4) graphics are horrible,choppy, and lag on the fastest vid card out
5) cut scenes are better then the graphics in game
6) any game that needs a joystick and keyboard to run blows
7) see 1-6

I also learned my lesson with Madden, stopped buying that in '03, how much more little tweaks can they really do to make the game all that great, I don't care if this year you can now stiff arm, not worth the 50 ever

I have never played a ported game. But I have heard bad things like you said. Ya never know though. Being made for the Xbox is almost like making the game for a PC so it might port better. It's all Greek to me so who knows.

I think '03 is the last one I bought. Of and EA sports game. I couldn't agree more.
