Yep. Didn't know that? I know we had a driving curfew till a cetain age think it stopped at 18. Couldn't drive past midnight by yourself unless going home from work or a parent or guardian was in the car. Of course there is really no way to enforce it.

Why so

about it Chacal. U.S. cities have been doing this for years. You don't really expect the parents to impose curfews do you? This is America damn it. You are free to have kids and then take zero responsibility for them.

Wow. I had never heard about such a thing in my whole life.
There would be riots here if they tried that!
Never get between a 12-year-old and his beer, is what I always say.

they instated a curfew here 11 years ago. if you were 17 or under you had to be in by 10:00 on weekdays and 12:00 weekends. it was bs. just gave the cops a reason to pull minors over.

Not that I have any problem sith sending kids early to bed, though.

I just didn't know it could be made into a law.

We had a town curfew in my town growing, and for a few years they actually enforced it. It was pretty strange for a while. At 10:00 PM the fire whistle blew, and then the cops started grabbing kids under 16. If they nabbed you, your parents paid a fine, small at first, I think $50. If you got nabbed multiple times, it went up. After a few years it somehow just faded away.
