Cute gimmick, useless but cute.

What strikes me about this is that you still have to use the old querty format but just have to use it on a notoriously unreliable touch pad which on every laptop I have ever owned is always the first thing to break. Oh and to top that you also have to have it taking up half the screen while you are doing it. Not to mention the fact that all touch pads seem at various times unable to even detect they are being touched, electromagnetic resonance my ass) and have never struck me as being very dependable. Not one of their better ideas really.

That said the current keyboard layout was designed to slow down typists and make the most used keys further apart to prevent typewriters being damaged or jamming so there's no particular reason to stick with it. I'd be interested to see someone genuinely trying to break the format and come up with something more ergonomic and natural to use, this wheel just isn't it.

The Onion's ability to spoof news is getting pretty impressive. I wonder if they had Apple's cooperation or if they just managed to sneak this setup into one of Apple's expos. Whoops, I just looked at it again and noticed that even their expo footage is their own setup. Wow, pretty convincing and well done! Love the little touches though, 'available in 3 to 15 months' and the little price tag in the background showing the price as $9,960. ;)

they have come a long way in reporting fake news :P and it's still pretty entertaining.

the onion is hit or miss at best. have you ever seen the movie they released a year or so ago? some parts were good some parts you have to struggle through.
this was a good one though but my favorite part actually was the mention of the "sudoku killer" at the end

Indeed. They can even imitate the annoying and pointless visual and sound effects of modern infotainment.

LOL!

"Lasts a full 19 minutes before recharge!"

"It only took me 45 minutes to send a email to my friend!"

I caught the 9k price tag, too!

HA HA good one, Onion.
