When Blaster first was BLAMING ME, for HIM CHOOSING not to play anymore, i was going to give him a mouthful. But i didn't. Instead i, as so many times before, i tried to be nice. I actually responded giving him a compliment. (this is what friends do)
But now, Blaster. You have the stomach to call me a betrayer.

I feel sorry for you, if you can't play this game at 125fps, how on earth are you going to be able to play the new Wolfenstein? Poor little Blaster.

He says, the server have turned into a OSP server.
I say, that ECG atm is the best Shrub server in the history.

Now STFU and come play on the server, or just beat it.

1st Real freind do call each other time to time even if they dont have any important to say!

But you not relaize why noone of the your old friend´s ever call you anymore?

No, I have said the fun is gone, and the feeling of the other ppl that using 333 fps is gone, now you will not feel that it a 333fps player
that are on the other side and it would 50/50 in getting him.

There are other setting that will server will felt even smoother, not only these cvars that your trying out.

And Yepp, You made my choise to end my play at ECG´N.
(you should know that by far, when I dont have made any big changes sence 05 in my cfg, or even else go to another server then Ecg just becuase I never like the settings).
And those how dont know I come from europe and was NNC then it ended about 04-05 I was only playing on 333 fps there and thought the game died when server and clan disappered, Until I find Ecg that did have same setting

Etqw is a 10 year old enginge And should not suffer from any king of this.

ETWQ was shite. On top of the matter Blaster, you have offered no real basis or fact as to why rtcw is "unplayable at 125 fps" When are you going stop acting like a child and actually say something of substance? So far, you are the only person to come forward and complain soooo much about not being able to support your (weak) playing ability with 333 fps.

I really hope you are over this thread b/c all you have been saying is how you got screwed. Honestly, I can't see how that is possible when you use settings that are against fair play. I guess it is only fun if you have an advantage... good game.

That´s why I´m talki9ng about the cvars that you wont see also but you still can use in game! They should be locked also soo ppl could not manipulate the to get advantage. yepp these cvars are still giving me advanteage! locked them plz also.!

2 second of all all this testing could be in a thread some a couple before the changes it soo ppl would know, even how long it will be if it´s gonna be a test and witch cvars that are going to be changed. instead of getting a big surprice when you getting on server.

I know when I got kicked, I lsearch the hole forum about what the f had happen!

For changing four settings on a server and to call it unplayable is ridiculous. Try having to play a completely different mod that gave crouching players the upper hand. If the only thing stopping you from playing wolf is settings then its a sad day, and you don't really value rtcw for what it is. For the most part my shots are registering better, and I can tell without the hitsound. Even though I like the new server settings I'm not going to boycott cuz it does not cradle to my every need. Less lag spikes, framerate drops contiune, but I believe it to be better than previous experiences. You seem to know alot of technical jargon. How bout putting some of our human capabilities to work and adapt, then again having a computer do the work for you is easier.

Man at arms do a test with FPS, run along beach timing yourself from first landing craft to second. Use 43 fps 125 fps and 333 fps and see the times.

Next use the 3 different FPS and time how long it takes to fire a full clip. I think you will find a time difference

Exactly, someone should do a comprehensive test with lower fps. I tried it for myself and as far as I can tell the whole server seems to move faster than me and my aim is worst than what it usually is. I capped the fps at 30, 40, 50, and 125. It was so easy and smooth playing with 125 fps.

If I understand any of that you can look at all cvar commands by typing /pb_cvarlist. Or open console hit a letter, ie "p" and then hit tab. That will show you all available commands starting with the letter p.

I think you contradicted yourself saying they should lock other cvars that give player advantages. I believe they did do that, remember the fps cap is now 125. Timenudge is off, depthbits is gone, etc.

Also I think my statement earlier was misunderstood, I know 333fps is achievable, but having it on ecgn with 40 players on isn't the easiest. I was merely pointing out that Blaster is crying bloody Mary on why MAA and Shooter switched the fps caps, while players like myself get 40-60. There really isn't a worse feeling than knowing you can kill a player, but are limited by the rate of fire, and there is nothing you can do about it. Lets not make this into an bourgeois and proletariat battle.

Fps numbers should be 43, 76, 125. Try 1 just for an lol.
43 is great for sniping - less recoil, shoot considereably slower with an smg
76 good substitute for 125
125 optimal framerate and smooth gameplay... My opinion

About your config:
Yes, i known for long time that you use this config. But you never told me why. And i TRULY believe it was because you had problems shooting at the server and hitting people, nothing else.
That's why i pushed for this change. Because yours and others cfg is ruining the server. So it should be easier for everybody, including you, to play on the server. Earlier i gave you a compliment saying that you where a good shot before, and now you admit using those settings back on the Nnc server too. I see now why you where "good" back then.
If i can shoot, so can you. And if not, start practice, like i do.
