Sorry to rain on your parade there parrot but Psychologist's are not allowed to prescribe medication, you are confusing them with Psychiatrist's who are medical doctors with specialization in Psychology.

To see psychology in action just look at drug/alcohol treatment centers. Success rates are good for people who would of been treated as society's cast-offs. Look at advertising and how of the most famous psychological concepts are used in selling goods and products. Things like why essentials are placed at the end of store, why candy and magazines are always around the checkout counter. Common day to day examples of psychology in action.

NLP is cool. As are Quantum mechanics. Frankly so is mathematics in general. But to think that Jung's theories, or Marx's or Monk's (or whoever) are less valuable is folly IMO. A model is a model is a model. Take the good, leave the bad, move on. If it makes you think, it had value.

I totaly agree but psychology claims so much yet so many theories are jsut completely unprovable in the real world (I say prove in the lose scientific sense that is everything is basically a theory)....

Incorrect , take the shit out of your ears or learn to listen more closely. I said for the most part racism is gone. Sure there are a few racist people out there and some hate groups etc but nowhere near like there used to be. Hell even the KKK are mild to what they used to be. If racism was prevalent today Obama would not be president. Oh you can argue little points etc but racism is for all purposes gone. Now prejudice on the other hand will always be present it just takes on different forms as we evolve

Being that the definition of that word has changed to no longer meaning "pre" "judging" someone. To be prejudice towards someone is to form a statement that has three qualities: emotion, is rigid, and negative. My joking statement was neither of the three.

I don't judge people, for it isn't my place, but being that I don't know you on a personal level and I believe this cyber-world to be a farce, negating any relations we have had, it would have to be pretty spectacular/odd to surprise me. Living in Miami, I've seen interactions and interacted with a very very large number of people from around the globe, and a ridiculously large amount of South Americans.
