ECGN Tournament

Postby Alex » Mon Sep 07, 2009 5:28 pm

Hello.

I've been playing on your server for a while now and lately I am hearing people are getting very bored and end up TKing for fun and then they get banned and it all ends with flaming and hurt feelings (:violin:).

I've suggested something, with great response from the players, that I think would create much more interest and hype over the only playable server left in the game.

Though I've never posted or even browsed these forums, this seems to be where things go down, so here it is:

One night a week, we have 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 stopwatch tournaments. People could even get a team together while they're in spectator mode. The winner doesn't matter, it would all just be for fun. A moderator would be necessary to keep non-players in spec. It could be one round, winner goes on or if you wanted to make it a little more interesting, bracket style. This is just a suggestion, you can shoot it down and go back to spamming nades in the murder hole, or you can give it a shot and see if you don't have just a little bit more fun than usual.

The red lettering is a total turnoff. It's hurting my eyes.
I'd like to thank MAA for keeping this little piece of wolf history alive so we can all enjoy the game for as long as economically possible or interest allows.

You think it would be for fun? You would have every stat whore or clan laughing and gloating at other people. You'd never hear the end of it if you were to lose. Sounds fun but someone will ruin it.

I lose regularly anyway, so...
I hear what you're saying B. OK ban people with bad attitudes then. This could be a great sorting process ;>

So play it like shinny. Everyone throw their SMG onto center ice... or just have the mod/admin pick the teams.

i thought it was a cool idea, don't have to castrate him for it.

Impractical however for a 64 player server to allow only 10 players to play, might as well go to another server.

And i didn't know people still bought games today...:red:

With the apparent success of LeafyBot v 1.204.. This tournament would be a great place for us to introduce LeafyBot v 2.0. Great sales opportunity. Leafy bot is best used in conjunction with your favorite brews, any added skills may or may not be attributed to LeafyBot or LeafyBotLite, uncommonly referred to as FlessBot. Results may vary. Consult your bartender to see if LeafyBot is right for you.

As a beta tester of leafybot 2.0 I can honestly say this is one of the best bots out there.

When used with the application of your favorite brew your ability to think you play better then you really can are greatly improved

One warning though...I have noticed a bug and I'm not sure if it's been fixed yet. When combing leafybot with and brew of over 5% alchohol I've noticed a redution in my lotto skills. The issue is technically known as...

Drastic
Reduction of
Unskilled
Nade
Kills

Otherwise know as d.r.u.n.k. This issue is being addressed as we speak
