Auto-reload

Postby =X= Puny » Wed Oct 28, 2009 1:32 am

Enough is enough and I cant take this shit no more, this game is so old by now and Ill be specing some random player and Ill notice that "yah their aim is pretty good but then they do an auto reload. If you have good aim and your still using auto reload then its time to retrain yourself to turn auto reload off for shits sakes. Consider this, your in a 1 vs 1 duel vs a player of equal skill to you and you both shoot your entire clip, the one that can switch to the pistol and keep shooting while the other is busy reloading is going to win. Can anyone possibly make an argument for the auto-reload? I seriously doubt it. Auto-reload off is the lesson for the day pay attention because their will be a test on this next time im on the server.

I just love it when they are a med shooting around a bunch of fallen teammates and they have auto-reload so instead of reviving they reload and always get killed, successfully putting an end to the push

I use to run a config where I had auto-reload off on the smg, but then turned it back on when I went to a pistol....

if this person shoots an entire clip at someone and doesn't kill him, this person's aim is not good.

Hmm, I guess maybe if your trying to take down a 4th person, because on good days I might get thru 3 only to have the fourth set me down...

I actually like autoreload, I have my whole avoid the bullets dance routine timed to it..:badger:

I turned off auto reload in '03 and showgun

no reason for both

best is this

mouse wheel down = fov 90 good for long shots

mouse wheel up = fov 105 regular close fighting

man you guys really get into all this stuff. You're over-complicating the game imo.

I made a fov toggle for capslock. Press it once, 90, then again 105. Hold it in, prepare for a headtrip ha.

I've seen this happen very often, and it's highly annoying for sure.:wall:

see i gotta have showgun when i play - its an FPS, without a gun it just seems pointless. I've turned if off and i for sure don't shoot as well for some reason either (the only reason to have it is to increase visibility and with my resolution that is hardly an issue)

mine is on mousewheel click. :D

and with skibb, I have the same issue with showgun. it's an FPS for a reason. :bazooka::ar15::sniper:

I think this post is directed at me. Ya know Puny, I'm so guilty. I've even said to myself %#@&!* autoreload, the thing is I never turn it off. Okay, I'm going to do it today! Thanks for the post!
