Anniversary
13 years of wolf, been a great time. Was wondering why no one is playing anymore? Last couple months the server has dwindled down to zero. Is there ppl playing 1.0 or are we et?
Re: Anniversary
I work nearly 7 days a week. Tired. When I join no one is there. At about pm last Saturday I went to jump on and the server was completely empty.Marvo wrote:13 years of wolf, been a great time. Re: Anniversary
Yeah, as much as I try, running my own business + a 6 month old daughter leaves me little time for gaming of any kind. But I do still try to get on when I can and see players around; right now it shoes 28 players on, which is sort of incredible for a Sunday afternoon. The audience is definitely not as stable as it once was, but there can still be a lot of people online from time to time, and I'm glad the server is still here.
Re: Anniversary
I'm glad the server is still here, too - but when playing last night I was reminded of something: that the same people who complain about the map, or meanly taunt others or think they are changing the world because of how good they think they are in Wolf - have made it less rewarding for me to spend time playing it.
Of course, my vow was to play the game until the server count reads "0/0" globally, and I plan to stick to that. Cheers to MAA and ECGN for having a reminant of The Best Game Ever still surviving!
Marvo, I personally went back to Day Of Defeat, and my daughter wants a PS4 for Christmas, so I might have to invest in a XIM4 keyboard/mouse converter because God knows I can't play an FPS with a dual-stick controller

Re: Anniversary
Perhaps it has to to with new game releases. People try them out. But somehow they find their back to the best MP evee done sooner or later.
