Damn, that's good stuff. I wouldn't feel too bad for him, ignorance of your own PC is your own downfall. Even in the first week of using my first pc(at the age of 10), I knew not to do something as stupid as deltree at the root.

If you guys like internet pranks, you should check out Lowtax's ICQ pranks at SomethingAwful. My particular favourite is the "Shover/Pusher Robot" prank:

Thats just rediculous. Yeah he might know only how to turn the computer on and not off and yeah he might very well be an idiot, but still thats just plain absurd what he was doing to that guy.

That's mean. I could have backfired if the newbie had a Mac.

one time I used netsend at work to msg a coworker and told him I was the dept manager and was watching him from home....I sear this is true I got the guy to do all sorts of things he though there was a camera in the montior...made him go outside and check if it was raining..the funnest was when I told him to get a empty water cooler bottle and hold it over his head...man there are sure some "not so smart people out there"

Oh man, Netsend, I had fun with that one when I was supervising a crew that were all on computers.

Once in particular there was a new employee who would never ask me for help if she was stuck on something. She'd sit for hours trying to get past one small stumbling block when I would have gladly shown her how to get by it easily. Of course when I found this out I was pissed, but I didn't want to be a typical angry boss. The next time I noticed her wasting time, I kept netsending her messages saying "WARNING - This computer has experienced a funky error. Please shut down your computer now and let it cool off for 5 miutes before restarting."

After doing this to her a couple of times, I pretended I had just noticed and asked her why she kept shuttig off her PC. She started freaking out because she thought she was breaking the computer and making it too hot. Took all my composure not to laugh and calmly explain she needs to ask if she's having trouble.

hahah those RULE!

In programming class this year, the teacher was showing us some code on the projector screen. Someone sent a netsend message to the demo computer and sure enough, a message came up on the big screen with this message:

"you fag"

I thought i was going to shit myself I was laughing so hard!
