Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Yup, adding to that, the Reloaded and Revolutions are one movie together as Reloaded left off at an abrupt end. They've simply split it into two movies. Revolutions is complete already, they're just giving it six months for everyone to see in the theatres and finishing the saga.

From the beginning when the Matrix sequel was announced, like RC said, it was meant to have two movies even though it's really one movie with 2 episodes/parts.

Even when Star Wars Episode 1 was announced, it was already known that Episode 2 and 3 would come out anyway, regardless of how bad or good it did(the first episode) in the theatres... :)

they didn´t have to say to you anything because seeing the title you could figure out it was going to be another chapter and the same happened when chapter 4º was released 26 years ago.
They have even said to relaeased 3º chapters more (7 , 8, 9) and then I just don´t know what the hell they are going to make anyway.

7,8 and 9 are not real chapters from Lucas. They are Expanded Universe. Lucas will not be doing these movies, if they are to be done. He has left it to anyone who would like to do them after he has done the third. He will not do 7,8 or 9, but he will help whoever decides to do it.

Back on topic. I seen it last night, and hopefully will be seeing it again on Tuesday. This movie kicked ass. The only part i disliked was the rave scene. It went on too long, 45 seconds would have been long enough.

This error handling theory sounds pretty cool. But, since you say error handling, must mean it is a Windows Matrix, i bet the third movie will end with a blue screen.

I thought that most of the movie seemed predictable up until the part where Neo meets the architect, after that I didn't know where the story was going... The sentinel thing was a big surprise...(glad I didn't read this thread before I went :D)

I am curious to the symbolism the filmmakers are giving to the Merovingian... This name is supposedly the name of the line of people descended from Jesus Christ himself (more biblical shit)...

He was working for Neo's side (unknown to Neo) by holding the keymaker from doing what he was "meant to do"... the keymaker, the oracle, her bodyguard, and persephone are all on the side of the machines, so the Merovingian must be on their side due to common enemies... Perhaps he is the first "One" that was never quite gotten rid of...

The puzzler is Agent Smith (most common name in US hehe)... he is a reference to a virus, but what has he infected? Everyone in the matrix? And does this give him control over the machines, because he controls the source of their power?

The directions they could go with the story in the next movie are many and varied, and it should be interesting to say the least... I'm feeling a little bit of sensory overload after just seeing it....Those Wachowskis sure know their symbolism and historical mystical references...

LOL! :D

Believe me - UNIX/Linux/Mac/etc need their share of error handlers as well!

:P

Part 3 is where Neo learns that Agent Smith is his Father, and that Trinity is his Sister... Also I am pretty sure the Ewoks will destroy the sentinels with rocks, trees and whatnot...

I saw Hitler at one point, and the black and white video of a nuclear bomb or atomic bomb going off.
